Tips for safe use of gas cylinders:

Do not impact cylinders, impact will damage the cylinder body, shorten its service life, may damage or loosen the valve stem to cause leakage of the cylinder medium.

As the temperature increases, the pressure in the cylinder also increases. Therefore, in use, it is necessary to prevent the cylinder from being heated by open fire, sun exposure and heat sources such as steam pipes and radiators.

Medical gas cylinders

The distance between gas cylinders and open flames and heat sources should be at least 10m. If conditions are limited, heat insulation measures should be taken, but not less than 5m. Acetylene cylinders should not be near electrical equipment.

4、Cylinder spraying process  

Before spraying, the cylinder body must be checked. Dust or impurities attached to the cylinder body should be blown clean with an air gun, so as to avoid the phenomenon of paint leakage caused by uneven adsorption on the cylinder body.  

For the cylinder with two-color paint, the dividing line between the shoulder and the cylinder body should be clear and consistent, and uneven height and powder mixing should not occur.  

The thickness of the paint layer should be 80μm to 100μm (unit micron), and the coating should be uniform and shiny. 

5、If the failure is considered to be due to the heat treatment applied, the manufacturer may subject all the cylinders implicated by the failure to a further heat treatment, e.g. if the failure is in a test representing the prototype or batch cylinders. 

Test failure shall require reheat treatment of all the represented cylinders prior to retesting.
