The flattening test shall be performed on one cylinder selected from each batch after heat treatment.

The test cylinder shall be flattened between wedge-shaped knife edges with a 60° included angle, the edges being rounded to a nominal radius of 13 mm.

5、The test cylinder shall be flattened until the distance between the knife edges is in accordance .

The flattened cylinder shall remain visually uncracked.
